OUR DESIGN PROCESS:

Whether you come to us with your own architect and predetermined visions or just some ideas and we can help you turn those into reality.  Our shop drawings offer more than your typical  floor plan and an elevation, they are a working model of your home from a builders perspective.  Every component of your home, not just your timber frame, but also your conventionally framed components are clearly represented.  This level of detailing not only prevents mistakes in the field, but is also imperative to accurately estimate your project and keep it within budget.

One benefiting factor of our hands-on approach to timber framing is that it offers our clients unlimited design possibilities. We can provide you with complete design services to meet any of your timber frame needs, no matter the size of your project.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE DESIGN PACKAGE:

Initial Consultation
Develop the best plan forward for your project. Make decisions about material choices that could impact later design elements. Usually after the first consultation we can discuss cost based on case reviews of similar projects.

Preliminary Drawings
Make sure we have the big picture correct. Elevations and floor plans. Answer the question, "is this aesthetically what we are looking for".

Construction Drawings
This is the final set of working drawings. Elevations and interior spaces are clearly defined as well as connection and construction details. This is the set of drawings that we can take to your town for acquiring a building permit
